tour of Ireland

I’m having a hard time remembering that I am leaving for Europe in a month and 10 days! I have spent so many years dreaming about Europe that I need to remind myself that the planning is finally real. I’m torn between just being totally spontaneous and seeing where the wind takes me and booking everything ahead of time. I am booking a tour of Ireland. It’s through Shamrocker Adventures and it is the 8 day Celtic Combo. It includes Ireland and Northern Ireland, which is incredible! I’ll get to travel to Belfast, see the Giant’s Causeway, down the west coast and see the Cliffs of Moher, stop in Killarney, visit Blarney Castle AND celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin! I’m super excited about this tour. It’s a young, budget travel company that caters to 17-30 year olds. I have a couple of friends who did tours through this company and they had nothing but positive things to say about it. I’m excited to meet people who I can hopefully meet up with again in other countries and just generally see Ireland with lots of fun loving people. Ireland is a place that I am dying to see but I was worried I wouldn’t be able to see it all on my own, especially without being able to drive. This tour is perfect. It’s £440 (approx $810 CAD) which seems a little expensive, however it includes all accommodation and travel and admission to places like Blarney Castle, Guiness Storehouse and walking tours in different cities. Once I get the credit card information sorted out with my dad, I hope to book that today.
